Rupert Bloggington is a mysterious character.

He is the one who set up this secret diary system, which allows a number of people to record their daily journals on a weblog. Each collaborator will receive £100 at some future, undisclosed date, as long as they continue to participate, and keep to the many, rather complicated rules.

No one ever meets Rupert, no one ever sees him, and none of the contestants can contact him directly. He, however, can contact them any time he wishes.
